IHMRI's Clinical Research and Trials Unit regularly recruits members of the Illawarra community to participate in clinical trials. We are currently seeking participants for:

INVESTIGATOR INITIATED STUDIES

Help Your Children Get Fit For Life

The Fit4LifeTM Program is a new free 8-week program for children aged 4-7 who are above a healthy weight.

The program is being run by the Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute and will provide children with the opportunity to participate in fun, active sessions, while their carers learn about healthier food choices, ways to increase their children’s physical activity, and participate in cooking sessions.

The program will commence early in May 2018.

Effects of mobile phone use on sleep  

Sleep study by the Australian Centre for Excellence for Electromagnetic Bio-Effects Research to investigate the effects of mobile phone use on the brains of pre-teens and adolescents (three age groups: 10-12, 13-15 and 16-18).
