The Project Air Strategy for Personality Disorders, Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute, Wollongong University Clinical Psychology program and NSW Ministry of Health invite you to a one day Friday conference on the treatment of personality disorders, followed by a clinical workshop on Saturday. The theme “New Research Frontiers and Discoveries” provides a unique opportunity to be updated with the latest research in Australia and internationally. Experts in the field will present a variety of papers and posters covering topics including the carers perspective, research, and innovative service developments.
This year the FRIDAY CONFERENCE will feature innovative new work by Professor Eric Fertuck from New York on "Synergy of mind and brain in Borderline Personality Disorder: A Social Neuroscience Approach".
The SATURDAY WORKSHOP will allow delegates the opportunity to learn from the clinical skills of Professor Eric Fertuck as he provides a clinical workshop full of case illustrations, live displays of therapy and theory based on an "Introduction to the Theory and Technique of Transference-Focused Psychotherapy."
